Summer of Giving
In 2011, SN&R launched the 12 Days of Giving: Not For Profit Resource Guide encouraging it’s readers to give a different type of gift over the holiday season. The issue quickly became one of SN&R’s readers favorites. With feedback from the communities nonprofits and it’s readers, we’ve gone bi-annual with this community-based resource guide. It’s easy to remember to give during the holiday season, but we want to remind our readers that nonprofits need our support in the summer, too. So instead of having our readers work on their tans all summer, we want to encourage them to donate some of their time or resources toward helping those in need.
