Tibetan monks from Gaden Shartse Monastery began the painstaking process of crafting the Avalokiteshvara sand mandala on New Year’s Day. You can stop by and witness their continued work on the mandala daily, as well as participate in some special events along the way, including a Tibetan story hour on Thursday at 10:30 a.m., a calligraphy workshop on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and more, all detailed on their website.
