The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

The Children’s Theatre of California puts the detective with the deerstalker cap center stage in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. A break-neck pace and deliciously detailed sets work to keep children—and adults—on the edge of their seats. Jason Kuykendall’s Holmes is both smug and excitable, with a decided predilection for chocolate. Watson, played by David Pierini, combines bluster and bafflement. Katie Rubin does well as Miss Owens, but has a real scene-stealer in a bit as an old gypsy woman. With action and humor galore, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes will delight all ages.
