Haas Kowert Tice

The trio of fiddler Brittany Haas (Crooked Still), bassist Paul Kowert (Punch Brothers), and guitarist Jordan Tice (Tony Trischka) met playing music camps and festivals while in college. Though each went on to other acts, they stayed in touch and began reconnecting between gigs. That ultimately turned into July's You Got This, a nine-song collection of instrumental Americana with a touch of classical grace and sophistication. The interplay is at times playful, reflective, rousing, intimate and even haunting, but always lit by the airy ease of their performances.
