Hello SN&R reader!
In his 1946 book Man's Search for Meaning, psychiatrist Viktor Frankl outlined a theory called paradoxical intention, which suggests you practice your habits or fears in order to remove them. Basically, you do the opposite of your instincts -- kinda like that episode of Seinfeld where George Costanza does the opposite gets the girl, the job, the life of his dreams. This week, don't miss SN&R contributor a Josh Fernandez take-down of the Frankl/Costanza challenge.
Happy reading!
