Zinfandel Stories from the Sierra Foothills

I have a special affection for the Sierra Nevada foothills, the region where I grew up (shout out to 209). Counties like Calaveras, Amador and Placer boast gorgeous landscapes and charming winery towns perfect for a quick escape from city life. The foothills, and some of the folks that make great wine there, come to you with tastes from 40 wineries.
