What’s better than a show that has the late contemporary dance genius Bob Fosse’s fingerprints all over it? The incredibly sexy, athletic dancing would be enough to call this a standout, but add a star turn by John O’Hurley (Seinfeld’s J. Peterman) and a standout performance by Bianca Marroquin as Roxie Hart, and this is one Windy City you really want to visit. The dancers are fantastic, the voices are tops (including Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Carol Woods as Mama Morton, and Tom Riis Farrell as Amos Hart) and the timing is perfect. Unwind with this musical analysis of celebrity culture. It’s better than Perez Hilton.
