Young Cures

Imagine a beautiful, blond college girl. Now imagine her with cancer. Like many before her, Jacqueline Young faced the peril of cancer with courage and conviction. Also, she faced it with style. One day, Young appeared at Stanford Cancer Center for her treatment wearing a custom-made T-shirt. “Fuck Cancer,” it read. Every patient, family member, nurse and doctor felt it; Young finally said it. Now, in remission at the age of 24, she aspires to spread her message of strength and survival to the world, with a line of T-shirts bearing her infamous proclamation and other inspirational phrases. With 50 percent of the net profits going directly to cancer research, Young is back in college and helping to fund future cures. Her shirts say it best: “Imagine … No Cancer.”
