Yogurtagogo in Midtown

When you’re strolling and it’s hot, you need refreshment within a five-minute walk—which is why the new Yogurtagogo, capitalizing on Sacramento’s love affair with cultured, extruded frozen treats is ideally located in the heart of Midtown. The clean-lined, spacious shop offers a rotating lineup of flavors—the punchy tart ones are the way to go—from the plain (good with fruit and a squirt of the sweeter chocolate yogurt) to bright-flavored mango to fruity pomegranate-raspberry. The toppings bar is enticing enough that I refused to lift my daughter up to see all of it, but she managed to spot multicolored sprinkles and marshmallows—a combination that is her idea of heaven. The shady patio, clean, bright shop and big bowls you can fill with tart soft serve and fruit (and yes, maybe some marshmallows for me, too)—is just a quick stroll away.
