Y Tu Mama Tambien
Two Mexican teenagers take off for a beach weekend with an attractive older woman, and in the process learn more than they bargained for about her, each other, and themselves. The script by brothers Carlos and Alfonso Cuaron is rambling and picaresque; on one level it’s a coming-of-age-on-the-road movie, with some frankly sexual scenes. But the film is deeper than it first looks; what we get is the delicate process of a woman, for private reasons of her own, dragging two young louts kicking and screaming into manhood and an understanding of what men and woman can really mean to each other.
