Wrong Turn

This pointless slaughter fest is a sort of unholy child of Jeepers Creepers and Deliverance. Rob Schmidt directed this gore-infested story set in rural West Virginia. A half-dozen young adults who look like they could be clothes-catalogue models (Desmond Harrington, Eliza Dushku, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Jeremy Sisto, Kevin Zegers and Lindy Booth) are stranded on a backwoods road. Two of the group stay with their disabled vehicles and are soon butchered while the other four venture deeper into demented-mountain-men territory. What they discover turns out to be much more horrifying than just losing their cell phone and also answers the age-old question of what isolated, in-bred hillbillies keep in their refrigerators.
