White Chicks

Marlon and Shawn Wayans star as FBI agents who pose as dumb-blonde Caucasian heiresses to crush a kidnapping ring in the Hamptons. This both literally and figuratively broad comedy opens rather blandly and then gradually turns into an infectious laugh fest that feels obligated to toss an occasional gross-out bombshell into the fray. The fact that these hapless officers look very little like the debutantes they impersonate is just part of the wacky plastering of sex, class and culture differences that make the world such a rich vein of satiric material.
