We’re conducting a poll

Do you pay attention to political polls at all? The governor’s up. The governor is down. Californians seem to favor same-sex marriage. They oppose redistricting reform. It seems like there’s a new one every day. And the different polling operations come up with different results for essentially the same questions. So, who is right? Here we present the pre-special-election poll results and compare them side by side with the actual results from November 8. This way, next time around, we’ll know which polls to pay heed to and which to ignore.
