The Melvins have been around for what feels like forever and, according to a blurb on their MySpace page, this can be blamed on the fact that they’re “too dumb to quit” making music. And why should they? After more than 25 years, the Abderdeen, Washington-born band still boasts its core in founding singer Buzz Osbourne and the same decidedly untrendy post-punk sound that first made Kurt Cobain a fan.
