The last time she was in town in 2007, Marsha Ambrosius was part of neo-soul/hip-hop duo Floetry, best known for its soul ballad “Say Yes.” After Floetry broke up, she continued as a singer-songwriter and collaborated with Nas, Common and Ludacris. This month, Ambrosius released her first solo album Late Nights & Early Mornings, with her single “Hope She Cheats on You (With a Basketball Player)” charting on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list.
