This could be a confusing show: Both artists performing have the same first name, Jackie. So it’s like, “Who’s playing now?” Sips beer. “Jackie’s on.” And so, a primer: Jackie Daum is a Sacramento native who plays folk music with a more uptempo, pop feel. Think a Bonnie Raitt type. Her most recent album is titled The Sky Inside. Jackie Bristow is an Austinite by way of New Zealand who plays Americana tunes with a rockier edge. Her latest is called Freedom. That’s not a lot not in common. But the two made friends in Austin while recording their latests, so it makes sense that they’re hitting the road together.
