Walk for peace

Some walk labyrinths to inspire inner peace. Others walk laps around the Capitol building to inspire outer peace. Sacramento Coalition to End the War encourages people to join an Iraq war vet in a Walk to End the War. Starting Memorial Day, May 28, one determined veteran and protesters will walk one lap around the Capitol building for each soldier lost in the war in Iraq. You can join them. Bring water and good walking shoes and meet on the north side of the Capitol, between 11th and 12th streets, at 8 a.m.
