Bad Boys II
Talk about your superstar lineup. Sean “P. Diddy” Combs appears to have snagged nearly every rapper available, including Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Fat Joe, Foxy Brown and G Unit, for this soundtrack, the first release on Combs’ re-launched Bad Boy imprint. Surprisingly, there really isn’t a bad cut here. R&B and hip-hop heads will find plenty to like, such as the underground smash “Realest N*ggas” (50 Cent and Notorious B.I.G.), the poignant collaboration “Show Me Your Soul” (P. Diddy, Lenny Kravitz, Loon and the Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams) and Beyoncé’s “Keep Giving Your Love to Me.” But it’s Jay-Z’s “La, La, La” and the P. Diddy, Nelly and Murphy Lee (from the St. Lunatics) track “Shake Ya Tailfeather” that will blast from every chromed-out SUV’s sound system this summer.
