Vampires Suck

They certainly do here. Those naughty boys, writer-directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, are back, again parodying a hit movie with groan-inducing bad jokes. This time, the target of their misfiring mirth is The Twilight Saga, already so close to self-parody that it’s practically a sitting duck. But Twilight fans needn’t worry; Friedberg and Seltzer’s aim is as bad as ever, and their script here is so lousy that, for once, they couldn’t even induce Carmen Electra to appear in it. Instead we get Jenn Proske and Matt Lanter, who look and act more or less like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, respectively. If the Friedberg-Seltzer names aren’t familiar, you’re probably lucky enough to have missed Disaster Movie, Date Movie, Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans. Do yourself a favor; miss this one, too.
