Valhalla, they are coming

Calling all local bands! Want to tour Scandinavia next spring? There’s still time to enter your demo for the Tour Scandinavia contest being sponsored by Planetary Group, Sonicbids and Universal records. Whether you’re playing metal, indie or electronica, Scandinavia has an incredibly vibrant music scene, hungry to catch new acts. The grand prize includes a one- to two-week tour through Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, with all major expenses—booking, airfare, equipment rentals, permits and housing—provided for by Planetary. The entry deadline is Thursday, December 28, and submissions can be made online at www.sonicbids.com. The contest is open to musicians in nearly any genre, though all participants must be at least 18 years old to enter. In addition, the winner will receive a print run of 1,000 retail-ready CDs.
