Two Can Play That Game
Advertising executive Shante (Vivica A. Fox oozing abundant glamour) is a sounding board for all her pals and their problems with men. She alone thinks she has found her dream man (Morris Chestnut) until she catches him stepping out with another woman. Her reaction is to keep her cool and invoke a 10-day plan of action that will punish her apologetic lover before re-accepting him back into her arms. Shante frequently talks directly into the camera and over-explains her theories on love, lust, the predictability of men while we wait for to inhale. Her beau retaliates under the guidance of a pal (the always amusing Anthony Anderson) as uninteresting subplots clog up the story flow, talk grows crude and romance is reduced to a game plan and a timetable. Written and directed by Mark Brown (How to Be a Player).
