If re-runs of Friends and Dawson’s Creek have been the highlight of your summer, it’s time to soak up some real culture. The Central Chakrah Project, a group of artists from Fresno dedicated to the celebration of the Central Valley, are bringing their high-energy music and poetry to Sacramento. On Friday, you can see them with hip-hop artists Brown Sugar Cypher, poetry duo Movimiento Molcajete and spoken word diva Ruebi Freya. Saturday’s show features world-beat favorite Diluvio and political reggae and blues artists Los Revoltosos. The shows start at 7:30 p.m. and admission is $3.
