When the 2010 Sacramento Area Music Award nominees came out last week, the area’s Top-40 deejays were pretty bummed: Only DJ Gabe Xavier and DJ Peeti-V, guys with prominent nightclub residencies, cracked the final list. Some deejays complained about this on Twitter, others took the high road and didn’t bat an eye.
