Tues, April 5, Chris Robinson Brotherhood
Harlow’s, 9 p.m., $15
Besides marrying Frank Zappa’s niece and Goldie Hawn’s daughter, Chris Robinson has spent a career marrying the music of the ’60s and ’70s with the younger generation, mostly with the Black Crowes, but with his solo work as well. Recently, the Black Crowes went on their second hiatus, so Robinson formed the Chris Robinson Brotherhood to continue making music. Though not a rock “supergroup,” this group contains a selection of regulars in Robinson’s midst, including Crowes keyboardist Adam MacDougall. Expect a great veteran performance from one of the world’s great classic rockers. 2708 J Street, www.chrisrobinsonbrotherhood.com.
