I don’t think Al Jourgensen knows the meaning of “side project.” Although Ministry is his most successful project to date, the Cocks are still touring and recording albums. This is truly remarkable considering the revolving door of musicians involved in the project, and the 10-year hiatus from 1994 to 2004. Although started as a serious project by three Ministry members, the band has since become more tongue-in-cheek. Recently, Jourgensen actually considered bowing out of the group to hand off the Cocks (now known as RevCo) to the younger members of the band, but then subsequently changed his mind. 9426 Greenback Lane in Orangevale; www.myspace.com/revoltingcocks.
