Krist Novoselic has accomplished much in the years since the iconic grunge band Nirvana disbanded following singer Kurt Cobain’s 1994 suicide. But although the bassist has remained musically active, his focus has shifted to include politics. In addition to organizing benefits and protest shows for myriad issues, including Bosnian rape victims, the World Trade Organization and musicians’ rights, Novoselic also writes an online column for Seattle Weekly.
