It’s good that one of the area’s premier singer-songwriters, just-21 Autumn Sky, is off playing bars and branching out, even though her tunes—plain-spoken, kindly narratives of life’s sweet and overlooked moments—of course are more befitting to a coffeehouse, or even the Crest Theatre at this point. Anyway, she kicks off a good little run at The Onyx Club: Autumn’s on Thursday (along with Thursday “Three Olives” martini nights), then Flash Fridays and an outdoor bikini bar, followed by the same on Saturday, finishing up on Sunday with a hottest bartender contest.
