Davis-based quartet Missouri Mule is calling it quits. The group—which is a fusion of country, punk, alternative rock and Americana sounds—will perform its farewell gig at Sophia’s Thai Kitchen Thursday. It should be an awesome final show: lap steel guitar, melancholy lyrics and a punk-inspired intensity of drums and vocals on Sophia’s patio. It’s what you’d expect punk farm kids to listen to during a hoedown rager. Buy a pint and send these guys off right.
