Old Ironsides, 9 p.m., call for cover
Port Angeles, Wash., must be a portal from the 1970s. Four dudes from the small town, collectively known as the band the Lonely H, produce mellow, ’70s-inspired classic rock with slight hints of country; but the northwest kind of bluegrass country, not the Texas line-dancing variety. Plus, the young lads have that vintage “I just time traveled from the ’70s” kind of look. Their third album, Concrete Class, was composed while on the road promoting their second album. It seems fitting, then, that it would make a perfect road trip soundtrack—even if said road trip is from a Midtown apartment to Old Ironsides on a Thursday night. 1901 10th Street, (916) 443-9751, www.myspace.com/thelonelyh.
