When I first saw these guys come through Sacramento, it was with Home Grown & Diffuser (this awful band whose claim to fame is a song on the M:I-2 soundtrack) at the old Capitol Garage. All they had recorded was a two-sided tape, which they were giving out for free. Well, they have come a long way from their days of handing out cassettes, putting out three albums on Doghouse Records, constantly touring and growing up a lot. When they came around the first time, they were so Orange County you could smell the arrogance from across the room.
