Superhumanoids are a Los Angeles four-piece that take new-wave vocals and affix them to dreamy electro to organize a sort of “dream wave,” if you will. This project consists of members Cameron Parkins and Sarah Chernoff of L.A.-based punk outfit the Franks, a near opposite of Superhumanoiods in terms of style. All members but the drummer trade off vocal duties, which helps create exceptional harmonies and allow the band to have more versatility. Currently, the band is finishing up a tour with Cults, Magic Kids and Royal Bangs in support of its latest, Parasite Paradise, a six-song EP. 129 E Street in Davis, www.superhumanoids.com.
