Mirah is one half of the project Thao & Mirah, which features Thao Nguyen of Thao With the Get Down Stay Down (or one third if you count album producer Merrill Garbus). Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn, a prodigy of Phil Elverum of the Microphones, has been releasing solo albums via K Records for a decade, behind intimate vocals and honest lyrics. Nguyen and Zeitlyn met when they performed at 2009’s Noise Pop Festival in San Francisco, and not long after, announced a tour together.
