Girls Rock Sacramento was formed to help girls build their self esteem through the power of musical performance. This Saturday, the nonprofit is hosting a benefit showcase featuring 10 Sacramento bands including Blues SAMMIES nominee Katie Knipp. The bands performing will be Girls Rock Sacramento co-founder Larisa Bryski, Moxie, Natalie Cortez, The O’Mally Sisters, Drop Dead Red, The Midnight Dip, South San Lucas and Gillian Underwood and the Lonesome Doves. 904 15th St., torchclub.net.
