These boots are made for musicals

Leave it to Harvey Fierstein and Cyndi Lauper to take the true story of an English shoe factory that was saved from the brink of bankruptcy by a drag queen looking for footwear and turn it into a rollicking, sexy hit musical. That’s exactly what they’ve done in Kinky Boots, the Broadway Sacramento show now at the Community Center Theater.
