Chris Thompson explains that the title of E Street Gallery and Studio’s March exhibition, Tenacity, was chosen “because it is a common theme the four of us artists have had to show to continue our studies and pursuit of our art careers.” Thompson, a resident at the studios and recent Sacramento State graduate, shows with schoolmates Kathryn Luna (pen and ink, watercolor), Paulius Rekasius (clay and installation) and Brian Wermund (installation, graffiti), and writes that he’s “pioneered a process that seamlessly integrates copper and ceramics.” You can see what he means at the gallery through March 31.
Amanda Cook, Trent Liddicoat and Gabriel Nokes are some of the artists showing at both Phono Select and Bows and Arrows during February’s Second Saturday.
