The Owl and the Pussycat
This play (which became famous as a 1970 film) is rarely produced, making the Sacramento Theatre Company show a treat. Felix (Timothy Orr) is a bookstore employee who spies his actress/model neighbor (Lyndsy Kail) earning a little on the side. When his offhand remark to her landlord gets her evicted, she ends up in his apartment, and, well, it is a romantic comedy. Directed by Matt K. Miller, The Owl and the Pussycat deserves more attention than it gets. W 12:30pm and 6:30pm, Th 6:30pm, F 8pm, Sa 2pm and 8pm, Su 2pm. Through 12/19. $15-$38.
