Forget those Rachael Ray-type cooking shows: The Vegan Black Metal Chef makes pad thai while singing like Cookie Monster. Brian Manowitz’s, the Chef’s civilian name, palindromic 14-minute-and-41-second instructional YouTube video is ridiculously hilarious. In a death growl (but don’t worry, there are subtitles) the black-and-white face-painted bloke offers a compassionate version of the Thai entree while the guitar shreds—and he shreds the ingredients with inanely ornate knives.
