The end of civilization

Will people choose a sane and sustainable way of life? That’s the question Derrick Jensen tries to answer in his Endgame book series and in a new film called End:Civ. Directed by Franklin López, Jensen narrates and explains how our civilizations have been historically unsustainable. The film juxtaposes the destructive aspect of society against a handful of people who are courageous, altruistic and compassionate toward the Earth and its inhabitants.
