The salmon fish supply is shrinking. Support the protection of salmon at the 12th annual American River Salmon Festival in October. More than 100 organizations participate to make this event of good food and educational activities happen. The free event takes place on Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nimbus Salmon and Steelhead Hatchery and Lake Natoma, 11931 Foundation Place in Gold River.
