It is no secret that many of punk’s brightest innovators hail from the Twin Cities. Consider Hüsker Dü, the Replacements, or even Lifter Puller. Off With Their Heads continues in this proud tradition. Surly but literate, the band has made quite a dent in Minnesota’s still-vibrant punk scene. In 2010, the band even negotiated a deal with Epitaph, the imprint also responsible for signing Weezer, Pennywise and Alkaline Trio. Its last album, In Desolation, is as wounded and despondent as its title would suggest.
