Chilean rapera Ana Tijoux performed at Sol Collective last July as part of its Global Hood music series, weeks after the U.S. release of her album 1977. Several months later, Tijoux earned a Grammy nomination, prompting a new tour in support of her tribute to 1990s golden-age rap, A Tribe Called Quest and Jazzmatazz.
