Stuck at the Airport

An excellent idea for a book, as anyone who’s ever been in the situation addressed by its title can attest. And if you’re the kind of person who, when confronted with slack time, chirps "Let’s go shopping!" you’ll appreciate this guide to shops, eateries and places to relax at 54 airports, most of them domestic, and you’ll want to slip a copy into your carry-on bag the next time you fly. However, if you’re slightly more idiosyncratic than your average blow-dried TV news Ken or Barbie, you’ll find this to be aggressively pedestrian. Also: Sacramento is not included, but such airports as Albany and Reno are. And: New Orleans International ain’t in N’awlins; it’s in Kenner, Jefferson Parish, west of Metrarie, and yeah I’m nit-picking but details like that shouldn’t be overlooked. Then again, the target audience for this is probably DFW-bound anyway. Hey, be sure to check out the Sbarros there!
