Strike a balance
Sunday, February 1AcroBowl 2015
There's healthier stuff you could do during the Super Bowl instead of sitting on a couch, eating junk food and watching two hours of football (with a bunch of silly commercials and Katy Perry thrown in the mix). One such activity is an acroyoga event at the Yoga Seed Collective. For those who don't know, acroyoga combines yoga and acrobatics. It's equal parts exercise and fun. It's all about playing games, doing flying poses and balancing while upside down.
Poets Francisco X. Alarcón and Graciela B. Ramírez will read Sunday, February 1, at the Avid Reader.
