Spring planting

Paris may be the City of Lights and Philadelphia the City of Brotherly Love, but there’s no denying we’ve got it made in the shade here in Sacramento, the City of Trees. Thing is, the city needs your help to keep our beloved green canopy flourishing. Arbor Day tree planting will give 300 native oak trees a home Saturday, March 7, from 8:30 a.m. to noon in Elk Grove.
