Spanish red steal
Campo Marin 2015 Selection Grenache, Grocery Outlet
The grenache varietal has its roots in Spain, where the hot, dry climate serves the grape well. We’re lucky to have the Campo Marino 2015 Selection Grenache ($5) here in Sacramento, as the wine is bottled in Cariñena, a small Spanish town. White pepper with hints of cinnamon and cranberry aromas bring flavors of black cherry and raspberry with medium tannins and balanced acidity. This wine is great for an afternoon asada, so fire up the grill and pair with tri-tip steak.
