Here are some recommended sour beers: New Belgium Brewing Company’s Lips of Faith series. Fat Tire is their anchor beer, but when the brewmasters are “at play,” as they say, New Belgium’s Lips of Faith beers are the result. Seek out the Abbey Grand Cru, 9.5 percent alcohol by volume. Russian River Brewing Company’s Temptation, Supplication and Beatification beers—blonde, brown and spontaneous fermentation, respectively—are also worth sampling.
