Some like it loud

Craving Theo, the clouds, the sky and everything else, too.

OK, so how can you beat this: Kaleidoscope, not the vintage David Lindley combo, but a new amalgamation featuring Tesla fretboard strangler Frank Hannon, playing with Craving Theo, a pensive amplifier-testing crew from Portland that just released its debut on Columbia Records, with something called “Floydian Slip”—uh, Pink Floyd tribute band, anyone?—opening the bill. Plus it’s at the Boardwalk in Orangevale, which pulled down its Hair Metal Hall of Fame sometime back but still knows how to put together a good, loud show. And it’s an all-ages deal, $10 at the door gets you in. The Boardwalk is located at 9426 Greenback Lane, just east of Main.
