Skulls, The

Wannabe attorney Luke McNamara from the poor side of town (played by Dawson’s Creek star Joshua Jackson) is recruited to join a secret university society styled after Yale’s real-life Skull and Bones clique. His best friend (Hill Harper) warns him that “If it’s elite and secret, it’s got to be bad.” Luke joins anyway because the fraternity will pay his future tuition and also because he’s star-struck by alumni that includes judges, politicians and CIA types. His commitment to the shadowy group and a campus death then threatens to jeopardize his own life and relationship with a rich artist (Leslie Bibb). The usually dependable Rob Cohen (A Small Circle of Friends) directs from a ludicrous script.
