There are few new theatrical productions opening in late December. Luckily, there are plenty of holiday season concerts to enjoy—including the Sacramento Master Singers' annual Sing We Now of Christmas program. Conductor Ralph Hughes is in his 30th year leading the group and the program includes his arrangement of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” (which will be sung by candlelight). This year will also include new works by composers Cecilia McDowall and Sir James MacMillan. 7 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Saturday, 3 p.m. Sunday, 7 p.m. Monday; $22. St. Francis Church, 1066 26th Street; (916) 788-7464. www.mastersingers.org.
