The Slow Food Ark of Taste celebrates edibles specific to certain areas of the country. Clarksburg’s chenin blanc grape recently made the list as the signature varietal of the Delta region. Chenin blanc wines make versatile blends or acid-forward, refreshing sippers. Revolution Wines just released its 2015 chenin blanc ($14 per bottle), which has citrus, floral and mineral notes along with a gentle acidity.
